Retire in style at Elanora Villas

Tuesday, Jan 12, 2016

Eldercare will unveil plans for its proposed premium retirement living development, Elanora Villas, at an on-site open day in Stansbury on Saturday 16 January.

Eldercare Major Projects and Property Executive Chris O’Grady said the proposed multi-million dollar project would consist of eight two and three-bedroom villas located less than 200 metres to the beach.

“This development will set a new standard for Eldercare’s retirement living properties – it’s close to the beach, town centre and community facilities and there’s plenty of space for boats and caravans,” said Mr O’Grady.

“These architecturally designed stand-alone homes will be tailor made for retirement living and the living areas are north facing to maximise the benefits of the warming winter sun.

“Each villa will feature private outdoor sitting areas, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, generous room sizes with ample storage, reverse cycle air conditioning and level access for residents with mobility issues.”

Mr O’Grady said peace of mind was a major advantage for people who retired with Eldercare because they had the ‘support of a large not for profit organisation which has the interests of its residents firmly at heart’.

“Our homes and gardens are fully maintained and residents will also have the option to receive meals and other home care assistance using Eldercare services which gives them, and their families, the comfort and reassurance they deserve.”

Mr O’Grady said Stansbury was the ideal location for Eldercare’s latest retirement living project given the organisation’s existing ties to the area.

“We see ourselves here for the long term providing residential aged care, independent retirement living and home care services across the southern Yorke Peninsula,” said Mr O’Grady.

“Our acquisition of the Minlaton Hostel for the Aged is on track for a full handover at the end of January and the proposed Elanora Villas development further demonstrates our strong commitment to the region.”

“I look forward to seeing as many locals as possible at our on-site open day where they will be able to learn about the benefits of retiring at Elanora Villas.”

People interested in retiring at Elanora Villas can register their interest by Thursday 30 June 2016.

Prices for a villa will start from $349,000.

The Elanora Villas open day will run from 11am until 1pm on Saturday 16 January on the proposed development site located at 1 Pioneer Street in Stansbury.
