Student Community Placement

Are you a secondary school student seeking a work experience placement?

Eldercare is one of the largest and most experienced aged care providers in South Australia and we can offer many work experience placement opportunities.

You can become involved with special interest groups, teach residents new skills, provide one-on-one companionship or assist the administration, maintenance, catering, cleaning and laundry teams.

Why should I complete a placement at Eldercare?

There are many ways you can benefit from a work experience placement at Eldercare. You can:

  • test drive a future career option
  • explore all roles available in aged care
  • gain experience in the workforce
  • make a meaningful contribution to older people in the community

If you want to see first-hand the career options aged care can provide, please register your interest and our Volunteer Program Coordinator will be in touch to discuss your requirements.

Please note: You should only register your interest using the above link if you are a secondary school student looking for student community placement or work experience. If you’re looking for placement as a part of your undergraduate or postgraduate qualification, please contact Eldercare’s Learning and Student Placement Coordinator.
