  • Residential Aged Care
  • Memory Support Units
  • Respite Care

  • On-site Hairdressing Salon

Allambi is Eldercare’s largest facility with 225 single rooms which feature private ensuites and individually-controlled air conditioning units. Homelike furniture such as mantelpieces and fireplaces are installed throughout the facility along with designer decor and fittings.

There are numerous courtyards and outdoor entertaining areas as well as extensive, well-maintained garden areas. Additionally, there are raised garden beds for residents to use, a covered area for barbeques and family functions as well as outdoor seating. There are also several sitting rooms and open dining areas throughout the facility.

There are also specially-designed Memory Support Units at Allambi with secure courtyards to support residents living with dementia. The team at Allambi has embraced Eldercare’s award-winning Dementia Excellence Program which is leading the way in person-centred care for people with dementia.

Allambi’s hairdresser is available Monday to Friday in a dedicated hairdressing salon with services available at additional cost. A beautician also visits monthly and a massage therapist is available weekly for an appointment.

All food is cooked on-site daily by a chef with two-course meals served for every lunch and evening meal. A cooked breakfast is offered one day per week with a continental breakfast served on the remaining days.

In addition to the comprehensive clinical care provided, Allambi also offers a comprehensive Lifestyle Program which aims to support residents’ holistic wellbeing by providing innovative and creative activities.

Lifestyle staff facilitate various groups and activities for residents including art therapy, monthly musical performances, regular bus trips and a monthly high tea to celebrate those who have recently had a birthday.

Allambi’s group of dedicated volunteers assists the Lifestyle team by coordinating weekly pet therapy sessions and aromatherapy hand massage sessions. Volunteers visit residents who enjoy one-on-one interaction and provide additional support for the regular Lifestyle Program. Volunteers also manage Allambi’s book collection which supplements monthly visits from the Marion Community Library.

Cultural events are celebrated each year and include NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders’ Day Observance Committee) Week in July and the ‘Royal Adelaide Show comes to Allambi’ in September.

Additionally, Allambi’s chaplains are on-site Monday to Friday to provide emotional and spiritual support to residents and their families.

To complement our high quality service, we provide an Additional Services package that includes a variety of features for your added care and comfort:
