Eldercare residents 'Embrace' positive body talk
Residents at our Wayville residential aged care facility The Lodge were asked this question for a short video celebrating this week’s release of the new documentary film ‘Embrace’.
‘Embrace’ director Taryn Brumfitt interviewed 100 people across Adelaide aged between 1 and 100 and asked them to describe their body using one word.
The video provides a fascinating insight into the tone of language people use as they age and has already been viewed more than 300-thousand times on the Body Image Movement and Transmission Films Facebook pages.

The documentary film ‘Embrace’ aims to ‘redefine and rewrite the ideas of beauty’ by encouraging people ‘to prioritise health before beauty’.
‘Embrace’ premiered at the Sydney Film Festival in June and opens in Palace Cinemas across Australia on Thursday 4 August.
