Eldercare Seaford aged care workers receive donut donation from local MP

Eldercare Seaford received a donut delivery from the Member for Kaurna Chris Picton MP last Friday afternoon, as a show of appreciation for their hard work during COVID-19.

The local Member of Parliament and Shadow Minister for Health thanked staff for their hard work and for managing the situation so well.

“This has been a really difficult time for everybody, particularly for people who care for residents in aged care facilities, due to the restrictions that have been necessary to put in place,” said Mr Picton.

“It has been a team effort – the whole state is working together to make sure we can keep people safe.”

Eldercare Chief Executive Jane Pickering said she has been ‘very proud’ to see the organisation’s staff working together to keep residents safe, cared for and connected to their family, friends and greater community.

“Thank you to Chris Picton for recognising the hard work of the team at our Seaford site – we appreciate the support we receive from our local members,” said Ms Pickering.
