The $11 million Wayville project has passed the three month mark and work is on schedule with demolition works completed and the new multi-level residential wing beginning to take shape.

The layout of the bedrooms in the new wing facing Young Street are now clearly visible and the first floor slab is due to be poured next week.

Furniture requirements and colour scheme selection for the new areas are also being considered in consultation with an interior designer who specialises in aged care.

The $24.5 million redevelopment of Allambi at Glengowrie began in May with ground works underway.

Foundation laying and the erection of steel framing will take place during the next three months.

The Lodge and Allambi redevelopments will comprise new areas as well as major refurbishments to the existing facilities.

The new multi-level residential wing at The Lodge is due to be operational in December 2015.

Both redevelopment projects at Wayville and Glengowrie are scheduled for completion in 2016.
