Every day is the day to ask: R U OK?

R U OK? DAY is a national day of action which aims to prevent suicide by encouraging Australians to connect with someone they care about and start a meaningful conversation that could change lives.

R U OK

Eldercare values of respect, accountability and connection are well aligned with the goals of the R U OK? charity. If any one of us can help one of our workmates get the support they need during a tough time, then we are showing our commitment to the Eldercare values.

Staying connected with others is crucial to our health and wellbeing. Feeling isolated or hopeless can contribute to depression and other mental illnesses.

Take the time to always check-in with family, friends and colleagues, and take action when you believe anyone is showing signs of struggling, not just on R U OK? Day.
