How to Volunteer at Eldercare
We take volunteering seriously and value the contribution that volunteers make. In order to ensure that volunteers are placed in the right area and have a positive experience there is a four step process to becoming a volunteer:
- Have a look at the volunteer roles and choose one of the 12 residential care facilities where you will be volunteering. You are then invited to complete our online application form to register your interest.
- Eldercare will contact you for an interview with staff.
- If there is a position available that suits you and the residential site then you will be invited to attend an Orientation and Induction session.
- All volunteers are provided with training prior to, and throughout their involvement with Eldercare.
Please note that all volunteers will be asked to provide a Police Clearance Certificate and sign a statutory declaration.
