Volunteer with Eldercare

As a not-for-profit aged care provider, Eldercare welcomes the contribution of volunteers. Our dedicated network of volunteers plays a vital role in helping Eldercare’s site-based teams deliver peace of mind to residents and clients.

Many of our volunteer opportunities are based at Eldercare’s residential care facilities across the Greater Adelaide and Yorke Peninsula regions and we will work with you to find a placement that best suits your needs and interests.

What can I do at Eldercare?

Like our residents and clients, every volunteer is unique and we will be guided by you in terms of how you would like to contribute to Eldercare.

You can:

  • lead special interest groups
  • teach residents or clients new skills and learn from them
  • provide companionship to residents or clients
  • provide transport services and help residents revisit or explore their communities
  • assist hospitality staff with catering, cleaning and laundry
  • provide support to our maintenance teams
  • contribute to initiatives across the organisation

Please include your skills and interests when registering your interest. Eldercare’s Volunteer Program Coordinator will use the information you provide to find an existing or brand-new opportunity just for you.
