Christmas in the Garden at Eldercare The Lodge

Last month, Eldercare The Lodge hosted its annual event, 'Christmas in the Garden'.

To set the mood, they had the talented Sam Greer, also known as 'Cello by the Sea,' playing as guests arrived. Sam has an impressive resume, having collaborated with Michael Bublé and performed at Adelaide's Carols by Candlelight. The residents were enchanted by her modern cello, striking outfit, and, of course, her musical talent.

The show officially kicked off with a warm welcome from Eldercare Chief Executive Jane Pickering, and Site Operations Manager Alysha Rhodes. They thanked Sam for her beautiful performance and introduced the ‘Pacemaker’s Quartet.’

Just when they thought things couldn’t get any better, who should stroll in but Father Christmas himself! The kids (and adults) were absolutely delighted by his surprise visit, especially considering it was just a few days before his big night.

After the intermission, the guests treated to The Three Little Sisters' Christmas tribute show, which was a real crowd-pleaser. They had the crowd grooving along to their familiar, feel-good tunes. It was the perfect way to wrap up the evening.

As the evening drew to a close and the sun dipped below the horizon, Jane and Alysha thanked all of our performers and helpers for making the night a success.
