Generosity shines as Eldercare supports #It’sInTheBag for the ninth time
In November 2025, Eldercare employees, suppliers including Concept Air and residents support Share the Dignity's annual campaign ItsInTheBag, which helps women and children during their time of need at Christmas.
The money raised and items donated will be used to create hundreds of bags containing personal hygiene products, toiletries and special items for women who are homeless or affected by domestic violence.
This year Eldercare is packing 300 bags for women and 100 backpacks with stationery, craftbooks and toys for children. Since Eldercare started supporting the campaign in 2016, more than 800 bags have been created for women and children across SA.
Eldercare Chief Executive Jane Pickering said: “2025 marks the ninth year that Eldercare has supported the ItsInTheBag. We’re lucky to have generous staff, residents and suppliers who are willing to support such an important cause. Eldercare is committed to ending violence against women and we are proud to support this yearly appeal to help women and children who experience homelessness and poverty.”
