Success for Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Lisa Macdonald at 2024 Palliative Care SA Awards
Congratulations are in order for Eldercare Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Lisa Macdonald, who won the ‘Outstanding Achievement by an Individual in Palliative Care’ award at the 2024 Palliative Care South Australia Awards on Friday.
This award recognises a person who has displayed excellence in delivering palliative care.
“Winning this award means so much to me and to our palliative care team at Eldercare. It helps to fuel our passion in working towards a future where palliative care is seen as an integral, compassionate, and vital part of the healthcare system,” said Lisa.
“I am incredibly proud to work at Eldercare, where our focus is on providing compassionate care and dignity for every resident”.
Eldercare Chief Executive Jane Pickering said Lisa’s achievement is a testament to her commitment and exceptional work in palliative care.
“Congratulations to Lisa on being recognised for her excellent work by the palliative care community – we are incredibly proud to have her as part of the Eldercare Palliative Care team,” said Jane.
