Supporting diversity and inclusion during Pride Month and beyond
Every June, Pride Month celebrates the diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) community.
It’s a time to reflect on just how far civil rights have progressed in half a century and an opportunity to protest discrimination and violence.
Australia is at the forefront of the push towards true equality and inclusion for LGBTIQ people, but there is more to do.
In September 2022, Eldercare received Rainbow Tick reaccreditation in recognition of its LGBTIQ inclusive practice and its efforts to ensure Eldercare is a safe and welcoming place for members of the LGBTIQ community.
