Generosity shines as Eldercare supports It’s in the Bag for the eighth time
Eldercare staff, suppliers and retirement living residents supported for the eighth year the Share the Dignity's annual campaign #ItsInTheBag.
Eldercare staff, suppliers and retirement living residents supported for the eighth year the Share the Dignity's annual campaign #ItsInTheBag.
The money raised was used to create hundreds of bags containing personal hygiene products and special items for women who are homeless or affected by domestic violence. Eldercare also filled bags with stationery and toys for children in need.
Eldercare Chief Executive Jane Pickering said it is heartening to see this wonderful generosity and kindness from staff, suppliers and residents as they look to see how they can also make a difference in the wider community by supporting a charity like Share The Dignity.
“As a White Ribbon accredited workplace, Eldercare is committed to ending violence against women, and we are proud to put our support behind this annual community Christmas appeal to help women and girls who are experiencing homelessness and poverty,” said Jane.
Thank you to our suppliers for supporting this cause:
