The Village
The Village was established by the Congregational Homes for the Aged in 1970 as the Central Yorke Peninsula Retirement Village and has maintained its community culture ever since.
Overview
The Village features 60 single rooms and can support ‘ageing in place’, where the level of care provided can be adjusted if required. Some rooms are located in the Memory Support Unit which support residents living with dementia. Residents can spend time outdoors with their family and friends in the gardens, courtyard and BBQ area.
All food is prepared on-site daily by our chef with two courses served for the lunch and evening meals daily. Families are encouraged to share meals with their loved ones and a dedicated room can be used to celebrate private functions.
Visiting speech pathologists, podiatrists, audiologists, optometrists and massage therapists offer a comprehensive allied health service to residents and an Eldercare physiotherapist also helps residents to build strength, increase fitness and improve or maintain mobility using the on-site gym.
Residents can have their hair done at The Village’s on-site hairdressing salon with appointments available weekly at an additional cost.
