Congratulations to Eldercare Chief Executive and SA Leaders for Gender Equity (SALGE) Chair, Jane Pickering, on being named a finalist in the 2026 SA Women of Impact Awards for the Impact in Industry Award.

The Hospitality in Healthcare Excellence Awards recognise staff members who make a real difference through their commitment, professionalism and care. This year, we are proud to celebrate three Eldercare team members whose achievements showcase the dedication and passion found across our organisation.

Huge congratulations to Eldercare Chief Executive and SA Leaders for Gender Equity Chair Jane Pickering for being named one of Australia’s Top 100 female CEOs, determined by News Corp Australia.

Eldercare is pleased to share news of a new acquisition in Adelaide’s west, at the corner of Light Terrace and Port Road, which formed part of the former Coca‑Cola site.

Earlier this week, Eldercare Goodwood celebrated its first birthday. It was a lovely morning enjoyed by residents, families and staff members.

In November 2025, Eldercare employees, suppliers including Concept Air and residents support Share the Dignity's annual campaign ItsInTheBag, which helps women and children during their time of need at Christmas.

This week we celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Rooted in Hindu tradition, it also holds significance for Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists. The festival symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

Following a successful assessment by the Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) assessors, Eldercare was reaccredited as a Rainbow Tick organisation for a further three years in September 2025. 

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting The Hon Sam Rae MP, Minister for Aged Care and Seniors, and Mr Steve Georganas MP, Federal Member for Adelaide, at our Goodwood site.
