This week we celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Rooted in Hindu tradition, it also holds significance for Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists. The festival symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

Following a successful assessment by the Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) assessors, Eldercare was reaccredited as a Rainbow Tick organisation for a further three years in September 2025. 

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting The Hon Sam Rae MP, Minister for Aged Care and Seniors, and Mr Steve Georganas MP, Federal Member for Adelaide, at our Goodwood site.

In support of National Loneliness Week this August, Eldercare has launched a booklet to help address loneliness experienced by residents in aged care.

Eldercare is proud to have partnered in a successful two-year trial led by Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute.
