International Women’s Day is celebrated each year on 8 March to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It is a day to raise awareness about discrimination and take action to drive gender equity.

Eldercare Trowbridge House was filled with romance yesterday, decorated with love hearts and red tablecloths, setting the perfect ambiance for the Valentine’s Day celebration.

Exactly one year ago, Eldercare officially became the new owner of the north eastern suburbs residential care facility formerly known as Ananda Hope Valley.

On Wednesday 13th December, Eldercare The Lodge held a spectacular event in the dining room to celebrate Christmas with more than 160 guests. It was incredible after three years of not being able to include family members or hold large gatherings, to have an event as fabulous as this.

Eldercare staff, suppliers and retirement living residents supported for the seventh year the charity’s ‘It’s In The Bag’ campaign for their monthly fundraiser.

Eldercare was delighted to be part of the team that won the Minister’s Award for Research and Innovation at the SA Health Awards on the 17th of November.

Friday 17 November 2023 is White Ribbon Day, a day on which White Ribbon will ‘call all men to make women’s safety a men’s issue’.

Eldercare staff came together with members of the LGBTIQ+ community at the annual FEAST Festival Picnic in the Park event held at Rundle Park on the weekend.
